This Website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and function are explained below:

  • transient cookies
  • persistent cookies

Transient cookies are automatically deleted, when you close your browser. In particular, these include session cookies. If IP anonymization is activated on this Website, your IP address – prior to its transmission to the USA – will be abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states that have signed the Convention on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this Website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of this Website, to compile reports on the Website’s activities and to provide other services to the operator of this Website that are related to the use of the Website and the Internet.
The IP address transmitted in conjunction with Google Analytics from your browser will not be merged with other data in Google’s possession. You have the option to prevent the storing of cookies by making pertinent changes to the settings of your browser software. However, please note, that in that case you might not be able to use all functions of this Website to the fullest extent. Moreover, you have the option to prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

This ensures that the IP addresses are processed in an abbreviated form and that they cannot be directly assigned to a particular person. Consequently, as far as the personal data collected from you contain any personal reference, this reference will instantly be prevented and the personal data immediately be deleted.
We use Google Analytics in order to be able to analyse the use of our Website and to improve it regularly. The statistics gathered allow us to improve our offer and to make it more interesting for you as a user. 12. Use of Google AdWords

We use the offer made by Google Adwords in order to draw the attention to our attractive offers by means of advertising media (“Google Adwords”) placed on external websites. The data from the advertising campaign allows us to determine the success of the individual advertising efforts. This enables us to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our Website more interesting and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising cost.

These advertising media are provided by Google via ad servers. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which allow us to measure certain parameters of success, such as the display of advertisements or user clicks. If you reach our Website via a Google advertisement, Google Adwords will store a cookie on your computer. As a rule, these cookies expire after 30 days and are not meant to be used to personally identify you. As a rule, the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out data (a marker stating that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are saved as analysis values with this cookie.

These cookies allow Google to recognise your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages on the website of an Adwords customer and the cookie saved on his/her computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can see that the user has clicked on the advertisement and has been forwarded to the respective page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a unique cookie. Consequently, these cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data with the above-mentioned advertising measures. We merely receive the statistical analyses from Google. Based on these analyses we can see which of the advertising measures used is particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we are not able to identify the users based on this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We do not have any influence on the scope and further use of the data that is collected through the use of this tool by Google. Therefore, we inform you to the best of our current knowledge: By integrating AdWords Conversions, Google receives the information that you have visited the respective part of our Internet presence or have clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not yet logged in, it is possible that the provider obtains and stores your IP address.

You can prevent your participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by an appropriate setting in your browser software, in particular, by blocking third-party cookies you will not receive any third-party advertisements; b) by deactivating the cookies for Conversion tracking by adjusting the settings in your browser so that cookies from the „www.googleadservices.com“ domain will be blocked (https://www.google.de/settings/ads), with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-related advertisements of those providers taking part in the “About Ads” self-regulatory program via the http://www.aboutads.info/choices link, with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanent deactivation in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that in that case you might not be able to use all features of this offer to the fullest extent.

These advertisements are clearly recognisable by the “Google Advertisement” note in the respective advertisement.

With your visit to our Website, Google will be informed that you have called up our Website. For this purpose Google uses a web beacon in order to place a cookie on your computer. The data mentioned under Number 3 of this Policy will be transmitted. Neither do we have any influence on the collected data nor do we know the full extent of the data collection and the retention period. Your data will be transmitted to the USA and analysed there. If you have logged in with your Google account, this data can be directly assigned to your account. If you do not agree with the assignment of this data to your Google profile, you need to log out. It is possible that this data is forwarded to Google’ contract partners, to third parties and to government agencies. For the legal basis for processing your data see Article 6 para 1 (1, f) GDPR. This Website has also activated Google AdSense advertisements from third parties. The above-mentioned data can be shared with these third-party vendors (see https://support.google.com/dfp_sb/answer/94149).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by Google AdSense in various ways: a) by an appropriate setting in your browser software, in particular by blocking third-party cookies you will not receive any third-party advertisements; b) by deactivating the interest-related advertisements with Google at http://www.google.de/ads/preferences, with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies. c) by deactivating the interest-related advertisements of those providers taking part in the “About Ads” self-regulatory program via the http://www.aboutads.info/choices link, with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanent deactivation in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. 16. Use of Social Media Plugins

Currently we use the following social media plugins: Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. In this context we use the 2-click concept. This means, when you visit our Website, in principle no personal data will initially be transmitted to the plugin providers. You can recognise the plugin provider via the marking on the box over its initial letters or its logo. This button allows you to communicate directly with the plugin provider. Only if you activate the highlighted field by clicking on it, will the plugin provider be informed that you have visited the respective Website of our online offer. In addition, the data mentioned under Number 3 of this Policy will be transmitted. For Facebook, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after its collection. Thus, by activating the plugin, personal data will be transmitted to the respective plugin provider and stored there (for US-American providers in the USA).

Neither do we have any influence on the collected data and data processing, nor do we know the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of processing and the retention periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data through the plugin provider.

The plugin provider saves your personal data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertisement, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an analysis is performed in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for presenting demand-based advertisements and in order to inform other users of the social network on your activities on our Website. You have the right to object to the creation of such user profiles. However, to exercise this right you need to contact the respective plugin provider. Via the plugins we provide you with the option of interacting with the social networks and with other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the legal basis for using the plugins see Article 6 para 1 (1, f) GDPR.

The data will be transferred whether or not you have an account with the plugin provider and whether or not you are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plugin provider, your data already collected by us will be directly assigned to your account existing with the plugin provider. If you confirm the activated button and, for example, link the pages, the plugin provider will store also this data in your user account and will publicly communicate it to your contacts. We recommend that you regularly log out after using a social network, in particular before activating the button, in order to prevent the plugin provider from assigning the data to your profile.

For further information on the purpose and scope of the collection and processing of data by the plugin provider see the providers privacy policies indicated below. There you will also find further information on your respective rights and setting options for protecting your privacy.
